Mahindra, the popular Indian SUV manufacturer, is currently working on upgrading some of its older models. We have already seen several spy shots revealing major changes for the Bolero Neo, which is expected to get a complete overhaul with design and feature updates. But the excitement doesn’t end there. One of Mahindra’s most beloved SUVs, the Mahindra Scorpio N, is also set to receive an upgrade soon.
Industry sources confirm that Mahindra is preparing to update the Scorpio N, which is often referred to as the “Big Daddy of SUVs.” While the new version may not feature any major design changes, it will come with a significantly upgraded list of features. Reports suggest that Mahindra may even introduce a new trim level above the current models, equipped with these enhancements.
So, what new features can we expect in the updated Mahindra Scorpio N? Some of the anticipated additions include a panoramic sunroof, which will replace the existing single-pane sunroof. Additionally, the new model is expected to come with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), including features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, high beam assist, lane departure warning, and more. Other new features could include ventilated seats and a larger 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
As these upgrades focus mainly on features, the Scorpio N will retain the same mechanical specifications as the current model. Due to these new features, the updated Scorpio N is expected to be priced slightly higher than the current version.
When can we expect the new model to launch? Industry insiders suggest that Mahindra plans to unveil the updated Scorpio N during the upcoming festive season, making it an ideal time for buyers looking for a refreshed version of this popular SUV.
