Australians now have another plug-in hybrid option in the Mercedes-Benz C-Class lineup, with the arrival of the 2025 C350e. Priced from $98,200 plus on-road costs, this more affordable model offers impressive features while maintaining a premium driving experience.
The C350e is available to order today and features a 25.4kWh battery that provides an electric-only range of up to 104 km (NEDC). This battery works in tandem with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, producing a combined output of 230 kW and 550 Nm of torque. As a result, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds.
For charging, the standard model supports AC charging up to 11kW, allowing a full charge in around two hours. Alternatively, DC fast charging is available as an option for $1,500, enabling a charge of up to 55kW and reaching 80% capacity in approximately 20 minutes.
The C350e distinguishes itself from other C-Class models with subtle “EQ Hybrid” badges on its front wings and the “C350e” emblem on the boot lid. Inside, drivers will notice hybrid-specific readouts on the 12.3-inch MBUX interface and the digital instrument cluster.
In terms of features, the C350e comes equipped with cutting-edge technology, including augmented reality navigation, the Digital Light Package with adaptive high beam, a Burmester 3D surround sound system, and the Driving Assistance Package Plus. It also boasts a self-levelling rear suspension, AMG Line exterior and interior styling, 18-inch AMG alloys, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, heated and memory front seats, ambient lighting, leather upholstery, a 360-degree camera, and keyless entry.
