Ford, GM, and Stellantis OEM Leaders Take the Stage at the CADA Summit

by Grace

A rare moment unfolded as the Canadian leaders of Ford, General Motors (GM), and Stellantis took the stage together at the sold-out CADA Summit.

The top executives from the Detroit “Big Three” automakers participated in the annual conference hosted by the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA). The summit provides a platform for CADA’s dealer members to learn about the key changes shaping Canada’s automotive retail sector. Dealers in attendance heard firsthand how the companies are preparing for the upcoming year.

The session was moderated by journalist Jason Stein, the host of SiriusXM’s Cars & Culture radio program. Joining him were Bev Goodman, President and CEO of Ford Motor Company of Canada; Kristian Aquilina, President and Managing Director of GM Canada; and Jeff Hines, President of Stellantis North America, Canada. The three leaders discussed several important topics, including OEM-dealer relations, zero-emission incentives, the current business climate, and factory image programs. They emphasized the importance of focusing on what can be controlled within their companies and in partnership with dealers.

Acknowledging the challenges of leading in an uncertain environment, the executives admitted it can be difficult not to offer more clarity and certainty to their teams. However, by listening to dealers and customers, they said they can work towards delivering greater value. They reiterated their strong support for dealers and commended their ability to navigate tough times successfully.

TD Auto Finance served as the exclusive sponsor for the event.
