Mercedes-Benz Reveals Three Limited-Edition SUVs

by Grace

Mercedes-Benz Australia has rolled out three new special-edition versions of its premium GLE and GLS SUVs, with deliveries set to begin soon. These limited-edition models offer extra features and design upgrades, with some priced lower than their standard counterparts.

The first model, the 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC Coupe AMG Line Plus Edition, is priced at $163,300 plus on-road costs—$300 less than the regular GLE 450 Coupe. Despite the lower price, it includes several upgrades. These include black 22-inch AMG five-spoke wheels, an AMG front splitter, and new faux leather seats with suede inserts. It also comes with air suspension, an AMG Line interior, a multifunction sports steering wheel, larger AMG brakes, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree camera, and an infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The second model, the Mercedes-Benz GLE 300 d 4MATIC Edition 7, is priced at $141,800 plus on-road costs, which is $5,200 more than the standard GLE 300 d. This edition includes a seven-seat configuration, with an electrically adjustable and heated second row, and 21-inch AMG alloy wheels. When compared to adding these features separately, the Edition 7 offers a $1,400 saving. Other highlights include augmented reality navigation, a Burmester sound system, ambient interior lighting, and a large panoramic sunroof.

The final special edition is the Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 d 4MATIC Edition 7, which builds on the brand’s flagship GLS SUV. Priced at $171,000 plus on-road costs, it is $18,100 cheaper than the standard GLS 450 d. It still comes well-equipped, offering Thermotronic multi-zone climate control, heat-insulating glass, a Nappa leather steering wheel, velour floor mats, heated and ventilated seats, a wireless charging pad, and the Burmester premium sound system.

All three special editions come standard with Mercedes-Benz’s latest suite of driver assistance systems. These include blind-spot assist, exit warning, traffic sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control with lane-keep assist.

One item not included in the Edition 7 variants is the towbar pack, which can be added for an extra $3,000.

All models are on sale now and will be offered in strictly limited numbers, although Mercedes-Benz has not disclosed exactly how many units of each model will be available in Australia.
